“CARETTA CARETTA” SEMINAR AT THE NEAR EAST COLLEGE

The Near East College is making efforts towards the goal of achieving environmental consciousness, along with its efforts of success in the academic field and sports.

Within this context, the English Department organized a seminar for the 12th year students on the island’s endangered and carefully protected species, Caretta Carettas. Marine Protection Project Director Robin Snape, the speaker of the seminar, offered detailed information about the egg laying, nurturing and the general living conditions of Caretta Carettas. The students found the seminar extremely interesting and equally useful.
