The Near East College on 18 March Wednesday held ceremonies to commemorate the martyrs of Çanakkale. In the ceremonies held in the middle school and GCE buildings, Headmaster Işılay Arkan, following the singing of the national anthem and the observation of a minute’s silence, delivered a speech related to the significance of the day.
In the middle school ceremony, history teacher Emine Güzel opened the ceremony with a speech.

Commemoration continued in the classes, where students watched a documentary about the 18 March martyrs.
