Year 11 ÖSS English Department held a general knowledge competition titled “Countries”. Participating students answered questions relating to Turkey, Australia and India.

The winners of the competition were the group formed by Mert Mevlütoğlu, İmren Eymen, Mehmet Doğan Melemez, Arda Aner and Yasemin Nur Eroğlu.

The quiz provided the students with the opportunity of further enhancing their knowledge of English and promoting their vocabulary, apart from getting used to expressing themselves in the English Language and upgrading their confidence.

The event also served as a fruitful exercise of teamwork.
