
Near East College student Barkan Cem Aykut broke the TRNC records in 50-meter and 100-meter breaststroke categories at the School Sports Turkey Finals, which he prepared for at the Near East University Olympic Swimming Pool.
Near East College student Barkan Cem Aykut, who successfully represented the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the swimming branch, continues to make us proud with the degrees he got and the records he broke. Near East College 10-year student Barkan Cem Aykut achieved another great success at the School Sports Turkey Finals held in Rize. Barkan Cem Aykut broke the TRNC records with the degrees he made in the 50-meter breaststroke and 100-meter breaststroke races.
170 athletes and 17 teams from all over Türkiye competed in the tournament, and 16 athletes from the TRNC participated. Barkan Cem Aykut broke records by completing the 50-meter breaststroke race with a time of 00:32.23 and the 100-meter breaststroke race with a time of 01:10.85. Barkan Cem Aykut, who prepared for the races at the Near East University Olympic Swimming Pool, continues his training for new races.
