The students of the Near East College Thought Club visited the Special Education Foundation (ÖZEV) together with their teachers and got information about the Foundation's studies.
According to the information provided by the Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate, the Club students had a great time by chatting with the students at ÖZEV and playing various games such as volleyball, lego and puzzle. During the visit, which was held in order to support different individuals and increase social awareness, the students drew attention to awareness on issues such as communication, empathy, social responsibility, cooperation and sharing of love.
The authorities of the Foundation informed the Club members about the students enrolled in ÖZEV and stated that they have divided the students into two groups, one group with students who can be trained and the other group with students who are educable, and that the families' attitudes are an important factor and effective on the training of their children.
The Near East College Thought Club organizes various activities to think about life in a philosophical dimension and to develop philosophical perception, to create different perspectives on individual, social and global issues, to gain the skill for teaching of thinking, to develop ways of thinking, and to be able to look at life and events from different perspectives.
