Near East College students have added another international success to their achievements with their outstanding performance in IELTS, one of the world’s most prestigious English proficiency tests. 24 students scored 8.0 or higher, and all students reached the high scores accepted by international universities.
Continuing to crown its strong academic approach to foreign language education with international success, Near East College once again drew attention with its results in the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam during the 2025-2026 academic year.
All students who took the exam achieved high scores accepted by leading universities worldwide, proving their English proficiency at an international level. According to the results, four students scored 8.5, twenty students scored 8.0, seventeen students scored 7.5, seven students scored 7.0, and seven students scored 6.5, achieving a significant success.
In particular, the fact that 24 students who took the exam scored 8.0 and above demonstrates the academic level achieved by Near East College in foreign language education, and also provides students with a strong start towards their international higher education goals.
Students Scoring 8.0 and Above in IELTS Stand Out
Dila Karaderi, Ediz Yalçın, Şifa Deniz Baysen, and Enver Serakıncı Rasmussen from Near East College achieved a significant success by scoring 8.5 in the IELTS exam. Students who scored 8.0 were Derin Afşaroğlu, Liva Sazlık, Boran Dinçkuyucu, Baran Dinçkuyucu, Pogen Yaşir, Ata Doğan, Hasan Sonder, Doruk Tunceri, Jasmin Simavi, Ece Bağman, Meyra Baştaş, Gülsen Esendal, Doruk İlhan, Deniz Turan, Melisa Nur Yıldız, Hüseyin Başaran, Kemal Özbilen, Neriman Uskuri, Toya Göker, and Ayda Hanoğlu. These results achieved by the students once again demonstrate the success of Near East College’s English education, which is conducted according to international standards.
