Near East College students chose their presidents after a week of events! The pre-election events, which could not be held for the last two years due to the pandemic, were held this year in a way that exceeded the longing of the students. Candidates for president turned their schools into a festive area within the framework of the rules and areas determined by the school administration for their campaigns. The activities of the presidential candidate teams, which organized various competitions, dance performances and parties, were accompanied by their teachers and school administration.

In this year’s presidential election, the groups Sguid Nec, Connect, Dazzle and Bang first introduced themselves to their friends by making propaganda speeches at the morning meetings.

Acting with the awareness of the great responsibility of the presidents who act as a bridge between the administration and the students, the presidential candidates informed their friends about the application. In the campaigns they organized, the four groups that entered the elections acted with the consciousness of unity and solidarity and showed the best example of friendship, solidarity and democracy for a week.

After the elections, the Sguid Nec group consisting of 12th-year students Berk Akyön, Ahmet Üney Bensel, Ali Erdinç Aksaygın, Hüsra İstek and Mete Saygın started their duties as the winner of the presidential election.
