Near East College students made us proud with 1 world and 4 European first places in A Level and ILS exams

Near East College students have won 1 world and 4 European championships in the A Level and ILS exams organized by Pearson Edexcel, a London-based academic qualification program that is implemented at the high school level around the world, especially in England, and accepted by the world’s leading universities, and their achievement made us proud.

According to the exam results, Aren Güralp from Near East College ranked first in the world in Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level mathematics. Aren Güralp, who has already made a name for himself with the degrees he achieved in international exams, started his university education this year by being accepted to the “Mathematics and Computer Science” department at Brown University, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the United States, and granted with a full scholarship.

Doruk Tunceri, a 9th grade student of Near East College, achieved two European first places in mathematics and science at ILS (Pearson Edexcel I Lower Secondary). Together with Ediz Yalçın and Mert Tezer, they achieved first place in the field of mathematics in the ILS exam.

As a result, four students of Near East College won five first places, including one world first place and four European first places, in the exams carried out by Pearson Edexcel. Celebrating the success of its students with the letter it sent to Near East College, London-based Pearson announced that it would deliver the certificates of achievement to the students at the ceremony to be held on December 14.

Aren Güralp, who ranked first in the world in A Level mathematics in the exam organized by the London-based academic qualification program Pearson Edexcel, graduated from Near East College and received a full scholarship from Brown University this year. He was deemed worthy of a full scholarship education in the “Mathematic and Computer Science” department at Brown University, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the United States and one of the 8 prestigious universities with IVY LEAGUE membership.

Doruk Tunceri, who won two European championships in mathematics and science at ILS, thanked his teachers who were always with him and supported him while achieving this success. Ediz Yalçın, who ranked first in Europe in the field of mathematics, said: “I worked at a not very intense pace, but I had a systematic study program. This success made me very happy. I have goals in the field of engineering.” Mert Tezer, one of the students of Near East College, who also ranked first in ILS Mathematics Europe, said, “I made this achievement on the basis of the lessons we received at our school and a systematic study.”
