Near East College Observation and Research Club students were taken on a trip to the Location of Command of First Peace Operation in Cyprus, which occurred un1974, and the Boğaz Martyrdom as part of their observation trips.

After their visit to the Location of Command of First Peace Operation, the students were taken to Boğaz Martyrdom where they were provided information about the martyrs by Lieutenant Ali Kılıç.

He informed the students about the 18 military officers, 15 sergeants, 268 privates making a total of 301 martyrs of the Turkish Armed Forces and 26 Turkish Cypriot Mujahids resting at the Boğaz Martyrdom.
