Near East College teachers, students and parents came together for the Turkish Classical Music Choir on Tuesday 15th of December at 20:00, which took place at Near East Library hall 4 with an unforgettable performance.
In 2003, Near East College principle Işılay Arkan was the first person who undertook this, which became a tradition untill these days.
This year leading the choir ‘Gökkuşağı Tukish Classical Music’ was Özkan Pastırmacıoğlu. Turkish Classical Music Association, reed professionals and annotators accompained the choir. Approximately, 20 songs were sang at the Turkish Classical Music Concert in which, Near East College students and teachers performed solos and made the concert more wonderful. During, the night the excitement and pleasure was always there. Near East College Principle Işılay Arkan, gave his gratitude firstly, to Gülsen Hoca who is one of the people who brang together the choir, then to Özkan Pastırmacıoğlu who was leading the choir, reed performers , those who put effort in performance at the Near East College participants and to Gökkuşağı Turkish Classical Music Association.
