Having a very successful year in academic, social, cultural and sportive activities and successfully completing the 2019-2020 academic year curriculum via distance education due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Near East College will continue raise her students in the best way by adding new success stories to her accomplishments in the academic year of 2020-2021 as well.

Near East College, which renews herself every year in the light of science and current developments and offers a quality educational environment with unique educational programs designed to enable students to use the foreign language and gain life skills along with academic success, will open her doors for the newcomer students through the Placement and Entrance Exam to be held at 9:00 on Saturday 13 June 2020. Drawing attention to the crucial role of institutional assessment for quality education in maintaining a sustainable level complying with national and international standards, Asım Idris underlined their commitment to continuing to exert every effort with all their capacity to further up their quality in education which is already high. "With our educational staff, we have had assessment and planning meetings and we have already prepared the academic calendar, programs and all the activities that we are going to implement in the academic year of 2020-2021. "In this sense, it is a clear indicator demonstrating how accurately we decided to follow the computer exam curriculum of the International Lower Secondary (ILS) of the Cambridge International Exam Center, which is one of the world's most prestigious exam centers conducting IGCSE and A-Level exams, of which certificates have validity in Europe, Turkey, Cyprus and other countries. Another innovative step that we covered is to to follow the Science and Mathematics curricula of Pearson-Edexcel exam centers and this step will constitute the basis for IGCSE and A-Level exams that students will take in the future” said he.

Parent-Student Meetings are realized through Academic Consultancy Office to help students choose GCE and YKS programs and courses during the transition from grade 8 to grade 9....
Stating that the interests of the students are determined primarily with the tests carried out during the transition from secondary school to high school, Asım Idris underlined that meetings specific to each student are held with the attendance of academic counseling and guidance teams and experienced branch teachers. Stating that the most appropriate course choices are made under the light of the results acquired through these meetings, Idris delivered further information. “For grade 9 GCE students, we offer course alternatives instead of package programs. While multidisciplinary approaches are gaining importance in the globalizing world, education systems are modeled in a wide range where a science student can also demonstrate his talents in social sciences and arts, or a verbal student will choose science courses for his future career. Students, who enrolled in YKS programs, receive education on courses preparing them for the Exam Monitoring Development (GIS) in Turkey. The development process is followed specifically for each student. Each student's deficiencies are identified and additional courses are organized to eliminate these deficiencies and equip them properly and consequently they can take the YKS exam at the end of the grade 12.
