The English Department of the Near East College staged an anti-bullying activity with the aim of informing the students and creating awareness about bullying. During the activity led by English teachers Feride Bağzıbağlı Sazlık, Metin Ergen and Emine Güçveren Bekçi, students read messages and chanted slogans which underlined the significance of “the meaning of bullying”, “what it feels like to be bullied” and “what must be done against it”.

Within the framework of anti-bullying day activities, teachers and students in their classes discussed a variety of stories selected from the internet. All students and teachers wore pink and blue outfits and stood in line to pose for the cameras as the peace sign.
