Members of our school’s Geography Club visited the Geçitköy Dam which is part of the Water From Turkey Through Pipeline project. Students, after examining the work site, toured the Panağra Delta, Kayalar, Sadrazamköy and Koruçam, examining the structure of the coastline.

The students also went to the Cypfruvex Orange Complex with a view to examining human geography. They watched processes like the entry of oranges into the complex, their packaging, separation of second class produce and the acquisition of fresh orange juice, its packing and storing. They also had the opportunity of examining the cold storage facilities.

The tour of our Geography Club ended with a visit to the CMC area in the Lefke-Gemikonağı region.
