Within the framework of their programmed tours of Lefkoşa, year 6 and year 7 students from the History Club visited “Saçaklı Ev” (Eaved House) inside the walled city. They received a detailed briefing about the mansion which in our present day is used as an art gallery. The students under the guidance of their Social Studies teacher Saniye Fındık also had the opportunity to view the items on exhibition.

They returned to school pleased with what they had heard and seen during the visit which was part of the History Club’s “Lefkoşa Step by Step” project. The visits are constructed parallel to the subjects under discussion in the history and social studies lessons.
