The NEC Middle School’s boys’ and girls’ badminton teams on 16 March beat the rival teams and became the champions in a tournament organized by the Ministry of National Education.

Our badminton instructors Fırat Deniz and Meryem Demir said they had prepared their teams well, as the result of the tournament clearly indicated.

Both teams, already happy for having repeated their success of last year, are due to participate in the Turkish Middle School Tournament in Yalova in the month of April. Members of the two teams expressed confidence that they would represent both TRNC and NEC in the best possible way.
