Near East College , besides their academic achievements , have also took part in cultural and sports events and are having their success heard. The college supports students in all areas of success, and also are highly careful with the cultural and sports events. In regards to this, Ministry of Education and Civil defence presidency “Risks and Dealing with it: School Project”” (Dealing with Drugs Education Project) teachers ,  representing Near EastCollege, the schools Psychological Counsellors   Duyal Tüzün, Rasiha Özyurtlu;  Psychologists  Rasiha Altunkaya, Öykü Özgüm ve Hatice Bolayır and a group of NEC students along with Çanakkale Arts watched the theatre play “Günlük”.

Having a high attendance of students and teachers, teaching teenagers to be aware of the harmful drugs, the importance of friends while starting and quitting a drug, the influence of families in early childhood, the importance of communication whilst trying to reach the child “Günlük” named theatre  play gave influential messages and was effective.
