The Near East College Administration on 25 November organized an event on the occasion of Teachers Day.

The event brought together a large number of retired teachers who found the opportunity to meet the new members of staff as well as their former colleagues. Headmaster Işılay Arkan in his opening speech underlined the significance of togetherness and solidarity in the teaching career. He said, being an NEC teacher is a privilege.

A founding member of NEC, retired teacher Mahmut İslamoğlu, following the Headmaster’s speech addressed the newly employed younger teachers, advising them to be always hard working, pioneering and open to new developments.
