The Near East College Secondary School Photography Club won the first and second prizes in the photo contest organized in cooperation by Telsim and FODER between elementary and secondary schools with the theme of "Water and Life in the Child's Eye in Cyprus". 21 photos of Near Eastern College students also received exhibition in the competition.
According to the press information given by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of the Near East University, using different photographic techniques with a camera or mobile phone reflecting water as a source of life in the photographs in Cyprus; such as a small water deposit on the ground to a glass of water next to it, a scene reflecting the sea, a glass of water along with a cup of coffee...The competition, aiming to bring together the most impressive photographs that bring water and life together, participated by many art lover students; 61 primary school students with 204 photographs, and 21 secondary school students with 80 photographs.
As a result of the evaluation of the jury, Near East College 7th year student Berk Gözütok won the first prize and Gülin Erbilen became the second prize winner.
In total, 21 photos of Ata Huseyin Kasapoğlu, Bilal Taha Koç, Deniz Tokay Kerem, Efe Can Çiçek, Eren Alaoglu, Ersoy Ata Baki, Güler Özaydan, Halil Betmezoglu, Mehmet Zaim, Sayra Gülmezer and Yağmur Doğasal were entitled to be exhibited.
