The NEC English Department organised an activity where two groups of students debated the issue of whether education with I Pad is better than education in its absence. Barış Şişman, Görkem Öğretmen and Yasemi Al-Shanableh and Ezgi Arifoğlu, who as a team defended education with I Pad won the debate against Su Devrim Korkutoğlu, Melek Bahçe, Doğasu Şitil and Bengisu Arar who defended education in the absence of I Pad.

The debate provided the students with the opportunity of researching the subject as well as using the English Language in an efficient way.
