On 24 June 2015, NEC held its 22nd graduation ceremony which started with the singing of the national anthem and an inauguration speech by Deputy Headmaster Ömer Özkan. Then the graduating students transferred Turkish and TRNC flags as well as the NEC colours to the 12th-year-to-be students of the forthcoming academic year.

The ceremony continued with the farewell speeches delivered by the school’s most successful students, namely Sanem Çağa, Kemal Atalar and Ayşe Karanfiller from ÖSS, in order of achievement.

Sanem Çağa, our mostsuccessful graduate, received her diploma from TRNC’s third President Derviş Eroğlu, first runner up Kemal Atalar and second runner up Laden Elkıran were presented with their diplomas by Headmaster Işılay Arkan and ÖSS’s most successful graduate Ayşe Karanfiller got her diploma from Deputy Headmaster Alpay Ertaç. The remaining graduates received their diplomas from their class teachers.

The ceremony, where English Language teacher Mert Ataner and Turkish Language teacher Necibe Arabulucu were the presenters, ended with cap throwing and fireworks display.
