The NEC Middle School English Language Department launched its annual “Time Capsule” activity for its year 6 students.

The activity involves asking each student to put in plastic files a form they have filled with their own personal details and an object that is special to them. The latter can be the photograph of someone they like, the photograph of a place they like best, the poster of a celebrity of their choice and coins. The files also included the first composition they wrote as a year 6 students.

The files were submitted to English teachers Jülide Çobanoğulları and Şerife Arkan, who, accompanied by Careers teacher Hidayet Şentut Demirpençe, put them into special
recycled-by-students boxes and archived them with ceremony.

The files are to be returned to the students during their graduation ceremony.
