World, European, and Cyprus First Places Making Us Proud!

Near East College students achieved remarkable success by winning first place in the world, Europe, and Cyprus in the Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel exams.
The achievements of Near East College students in the Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel exams once again showcased the school’s academic success. First place in the world, Europe, and Cyprus in three different exams filled Near East College and their families with pride.

Liva Sazlık, an 11-year student at Near East College, achieved a perfect score on the “English as a Second Language” exam administered by Cambridge International, becoming the world’s first-place winner. Sazlık’s success confirms the level of English as a second language proficiency that Near East College has reached globally.

Sait Merih Sayıner, a 9-year student at Near East College, also achieved a great success by becoming the European first-place winner in the iLower Secondary in Science exam administered by Pearson Edexcel. Another major achievement came from Hüseyin Başaran, a 12-year student from Near East College, winning first place in Cyprus in the Cambridge International AS level Information Technology exam.

Near East College students, who achieved world, European, and Cyprus first place rankings in international exams conducted by Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel, received their awards at a ceremony held at the Pavillion in the Lakatamia region of South Nicosia.

Near East College Principal Raif Özdilek Asvaroğlu emphasized that the world, European, and Cyprus first place rankings achieved by their students in international exams, as in previous years, are a result of their strong educational tradition. Saying that “These achievements are the result of our strong academic infrastructure, our qualified teaching staff, and our student-centered educational approach.” Asvaroğlu added, “I wholeheartedly congratulate our students, their families who support them at every stage, and our dedicated teachers.”
