Meaningful Visit from Near East College Observation and Research Club to Fazıl Küçük Museum


Students of the Near East College Observation and Research Club visited the museum of Dr. Fazıl Küçük, the leader of the Turkish Cypriot People's freedom and existence struggle.

According to the press information provided by the Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate, Director of Fazıl Küçük Museum Ayfer Aslan provide the students with information about the life of Dr. Fazıl Küçük who has a very important role in the history ofTurkish Cypriot community. As well as giving information about the life of Dr. Küçük, also stated that Küçük had owned the Halkin Sesi (Voice of Public) newspaper which became the voice of the Cypriot Turks at that time.


Students visiting the Fazıl Küçük Museum observed the personal belongings of Dr. Küçük on site. Later in the section of the museum, watched the documentary about Küçük's life. The students of the club expressed their satisfaction from the trip.

Students visiting the Dr. Fazıl Kucuk Museum which once was his office for over 25 years, have taken photos and experienced emotional moments from time to time while watching the documentary about Dr. Küçük's life.
