The students of the Near East College Geography Club visited the Near East University Atatürk Education Faculty Department of Geography Teaching as part of their research and observation tour.
The club, which brought together students who are interested in geography science and have love of nature as well as raising environmental consciousness, visited the Department of Geography Teaching of Near East University. Assist Prof. Dr. Şeniz Şensoy provided the students with detailed information about the department.
Doğuş Beyoğlu, a lecturer at the Department of Geography Teaching who informed the students about the material studies of the university students, gave detailed information about the material studies, valley formation, fairy chimneys formed by the effects of flood waters, studies showing the effect of human in the shaping of geography, types of settlements and studies of relief materials of Cyprus.
