Being the first private school of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Near East College has many social, cultural, sports and academic attainments and recently it has added to its achievements in English language examinations.

According to the statement made by the Near East College, Near East College has made an outstanding achievement in IELTS (The international English Language Testing System), which is considered as English proficiency exam by more than 7000 universities around the world, institutions and establishments.

In addition to the above, it was stated that IELTS is one of the most reliable exams to evaluate the English ability of candidates and is administered in 125 countries; and students are granted band scores as marks ranging from0 to 9 as whole or half bands. Moreover, band score 6.0 is usually sufficient to apply to many universities abroad.
