The art of painting is a narrative technique made with lines and colours on any surface, in which almost all kinds of materials can be used in order to handle it in a conceptual dimension.
The art curriculum implemented for Grades 6, 7 and 8 covers the basic content of the art course. The Cambridge IGCSE Arts curriculum is implemented for Grades 9 and 10 students who selected the art course after the transition to high school. Upon completing the Cambridge IGCSE Arts curriculum, the students take the IGCSE Arts exam at the end of grade 10. Afterwards, the students have the right to choose it again. If they choose the art course, they complete the Cambridge AS Arts curriculum in Grade 11 and take the AS Arts exams at the end of the 11th Grade. In Grade 12, they complete the Cambridge A-Level Arts curriculum and take the A-Level Arts exams at the end of the 12th Grade. In our YKS classes, art lessons are carried out as free drawing techniques within the scope of the curriculum.
Based on the IGCSE, GCE and YKS curricula, our art lessons are carried out in our fully-equipped art workshops accredited by Pearson Edexcel and the Cambridge International Exam Center.
